About the Role
We're partnering with a rapidly expanding leading manufacturing business to recruit a brand-new Demand Planner. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of forecasting, planning, and short-term inventory management within a fast-paced and growing operation.
You'll play a key role in shaping demand planning processes, supporting the purchasing and operations teams, and ensuring stock and production plans align with customer and commercial requirements. It's a great fit for someone highly analytical, detail-focused, and confident working cross-functionally.
Key Responsibilities
Own and maintain forecasting documents, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date demand visibility.
Support short-term inventory planning with a rolling 4-week view.
Schedule the supply of direct materials to mitigate stock risks.
Maintain and update bills of materials (BOMs).
Raise orders and coordinate stock call-offs.
Provide ad-hoc analysis and reports across purchasing, commercial, and operations.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to support production efficiency and new product launches.
Support the Purchasing Manager with planning and operational requirements.
- Ensure the production plan requirements continue to align with business needs.
What You'll Bring
Strong experience in demand planning, forecasting, or inventory management.
Highly analytical with the ability to interpret, model, and present data clearly.
Proficiency in Excel and confidence working with large data sets.
Excellent communication and coordination skills across departments.
Ability to work independently with a proactive approach to identifying issues and opportunities.
Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or FMCG environments.
