Job Title: Material Planner
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: c35k

As the Material Planner, you will play a vital role in optimizing supply chain functions and ensuring seamless coordination between our planning, commercial and product development teams.
The Experience Required:
- Qualifications within Supply Chain or a similar function are highly preferred.
- You must have experience either in a previous Material Planner role or working within a Supply Chain planning capacity.
- Food manufacturing or other manufacturing with a relevant short shelf life.
- Strong Excel knowledge.
- Advantageous if you have ERP (M3) knowledge.
The Role/Responsibilities:
- Drive and maintain scheduling systems to maximize efficiency.
- Support the procurement team on forward planning, managing call offs and developing relationships with suppliers.
- Create and manage structured schedules that optimize capacity.
- Monitor and control the delivery of all new materials in line with the product development plan.
- Ensure the material stock in holding is aligned with budgets.
- Ensuring everything is inputted to the MRP system.
