Description
As the Materials Scheduler your duties will include:
- Checking and placing orders for materials.
- Scheduling and tracking the delivery of materials in a timely manner.
- Liaising with suppliers on a daily basis.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure a smooth production process.
- Monitoring stock levels and identifying purchasing needs.
- Maintaining updated records of invoices and contracts.
- Assessing, managing and mitigating risks in the supply chain processes where possible.
Profile
The successful Materials Scheduler will have:
- Previously worked in a similar position within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Solid knowledge of supply chain and procurement procedures.
