The client is a large organisation in the FMCG manufacturing sector and it prides itself on being a market leader. They have a large manufacturing site in Manchester that supports customers across the globe.

Description

As the Materials Scheduler your duties will include:

  • Checking and placing orders for materials.
  • Scheduling and tracking the delivery of materials in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with suppliers on a daily basis.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure a smooth production process.
  • Monitoring stock levels and identifying purchasing needs.
  • Maintaining updated records of invoices and contracts.
  • Assessing, managing and mitigating risks in the supply chain processes where possible.

Profile

The successful Materials Scheduler will have:

  • Previously worked in a similar position within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Solid knowledge of supply chain and procurement procedures.
