Quality Assurance Coordinator - Manchester area - £45,000 (Fixed Term Contract)

The Opportunity

A QA Coordinator is required to join CAF Rail Services, a global leader in the rail industry. They currently undergoing a significant phase of transformation and growth. With this, they are committed to enhancing their quality assurance processes to maintain compliance with stringent industry standards.

The Role

The QA Coordinator will play a pivotal role in the development of CAF Rail’s brand-new facility, ensuring it meets ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards, as well as various rail industry regulations including RISQS and IRIS. This facility represents a major investment in the company’s future, driving efficiency, innovation, and best practices across its operations.

A key responsibility of the QA Coordinator will be to align processes across multiple sites, implement necessary quality improvements, and prepare CAF Rail for audits to ensure continued compliance and operational excellence. The role will also oversee inspections, audits, RISQ assessments, and other compliance measures that uphold the integrity of the business.

Location
Predominantly Manchester (M40) but travel to other sites when needed

Salary 
£45,000
12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Essential Criteria 

  • Strong background in Quality Assurance
  • Auditing experience – (Internal or external)
  • Strong understanding of ISO Accreditation/Standards 9001, 14001, 45001.
  • RISQS/ IRIS awareness
