Senior Quantity Surveyor
Manchester | £60,000 per annum

We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the commercial lead on an exciting new infrastructure scheme in Manchester strong focus on earthworks and drainage.

What You'll Be Doing
·Lead all commercial aspects of the project, ensuring tight control of budgets and timelines.
·Manage NEC 4 Option A contracts, including accurate cost forecasting, reporting, and contract administration.
·Work closely with the delivery team, engineers, and key stakeholders to align commercial strategy with project delivery.
·Drive value engineering and ensure cost efficiency through smart procurement.
·Manage risk and ensure strict contractual compliance.
·Mentor and support junior QS team members, encouraging growth and development.
·Provide clear and strategic commercial reporting to senior leadership.

What We're Looking For
·Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering or infrastructure.
·Solid understanding of NEC 4 Option A contracts and their commercial management.
·Skilled in managing subcontractor packages and maintaining tight cost control.
·Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
·Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or related field. RICS/CIOB accreditation is a plus.
