Quantity Surveyor

V7 Recruitment are currently working with our client; a reputable and modern main contractor who are looking for an experiencedQuantity Surveyorto join their team on a large refurbishment project in Manchester City Centre!

Ideal candidate:

• Main contractor background
• Experience on large scale refurbishment projects desired
• A degree or HNC level qualification
• Ambitious and motivated work attitude
• Strong management skills

Duties will include:

• Being based on site in Manchester City Centre.
• Procuring materials and subcontractors.
• Attending project progress meetings with clients and Project Managers.
• Managing subcontractor payments, variations and producing cost reports.
• Preparation of final accounts.
• Identifying commercial risks.
• Monitoring cash flow.
• Assisting with the CVR.
• Working closely with the site teams including Senior Project Managers.
