Construo Recruitment are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in Passive Fire Protection to join a growing specialist contractor. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects across the North West region, with a focus on Firestopping and Fire Door installations.

The Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the financial management and successful delivery of passive fire protection projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing costs, contracts, and budgets for firestopping and fire door projects.
• Preparing and reviewing tenders, valuations, and final accounts.
• Negotiating with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Identifying and managing risks, variations, and cost-saving opportunities.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction or fire protection sectors.
• Essential experience in Passive Fire Protection, particularly Firestopping and Fire Doors.
• Strong knowledge of contracts (e.g., JCT/NEC).
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
