A leading independent construction and property consultancy is looking to appoint a talented Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their established commercial team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects-spanning residential, heritage, commercial, and insurance-delivering high-quality cost consultancy services from inception through to completion. The role offers excellent scope for professional development and long-term career progression within a supportive, employee-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of cost plans, budget estimates, and tender documentation.
  • Managing procurement processes and providing contract administration support.
  • Ongoing cost management and monitoring of project expenditure.
  • Evaluation of contractor claims, including extensions of time and loss & expense.
  • Providing risk management, reinstatement valuations, and third-party cost reports.
  • Supporting dispute resolution with clear, evidence-based reporting.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (or similar discipline).
  • Ideally MRICS qualified or working towards chartership.
  • Experience across both pre-contract and post-contract stages.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to take ownership of projects.
