We have an opportunity available for a Quantity Surveyor to work with an award winning building and construction consultancy based on the outskirts of Manchester with on-site parking. There will be occasional travel required to regional offices. This is a great opportunity for an established Quantity Surveyor or a highly experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step in their career.

About the role of the Quantity Surveyor

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in providing expert cost advice and managing budgets across a diverse range of projects. These include Residential, Social Housing, Education, Heritage, and Local Authority developments. You'll be an integral member of the team, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor

  • Prepare and manage Budgets and Cost plans
  • Tender documents
  • Contract Negotiations
  • Risk Management

Requirements of the Quantity Surveyor

  • Employers Agent experience is advantageous
  • Proven experience in cost management and contract administration
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying
  • Full Driving License
