Senior Quantity Surveyor – Civils & Infrastructure (North West)

The Company
A growing main contractor delivering complex projects across industrial, commercial, retail, logistics, and infrastructure sectors. Over the last decade they’ve built a strong reputation for delivering major schemes up to around £80m, combining modern construction methods with a collaborative, forward-thinking culture.
Following a series of project wins in the North West, they’re expanding their commercial team and are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take a lead role on upcoming work.

The Role
You’ll oversee the commercial delivery of a civils-heavy project in the North West, taking responsibility from early procurement through to final account. The scope involves groundworks, utilities, drainage, external works and enabling activities, so strong civils/infrastructure experience is essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading cost management and reporting on major civils packages

  • Managing procurement, tendering and subcontract negotiations

  • Producing accurate forecasting, CVRs and commercial reports

  • Working closely with delivery teams to support cost, quality and programme targets

  • Client liaison and contract administration (NEC experience preferred)

  • Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff

This suits someone who wants autonomy, early involvement and the opportunity to influence commercial strategy on technically challenging schemes. A competitive salary and package are offered, along with clear progression opportunities into Managing QS level.

  • Discretionary bonus
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
  • Fuel card
  • Pension Contribution
  • Private Healthcare
