We have an opportunity available for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work with an award winning building and construction consultancy based on the outskirts of Manchester with on-site parking. There will be occasional travel required to regional offices. This is also an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor to progress within their career.
About the role of the Senior Quantity Surveyor
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will play a vital client facing role, providing advice on several different aspects, including Residential, Social Housing, Education, Heritage and Local Authority. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Cost Planning/Budget Estimation
- Manage contracts, procurement, and resolve disputes
- Mentor junior surveyors and support team development
- Cost Control
- Risk Management
- Value Engineering
Requirements of the Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Employers Agent experience is advantageous
- Ability to work on own and to be able to manage a team
- MRICS Accredited in Quantity Surveying
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Full Driving License
