Your new companyA leading provider of facilities management for the UK military is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial operations across a large, multi-site contract in the North of England. This 12-month maternity cover role offers a unique opportunity to influence strategic delivery across critical defence infrastructure.

Your new roleYou'll work closely with internal teams and key stakeholders, including the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), to manage cost control, contract compliance, and supplier performance. Your role will involve leading change management, resolving disputes, and ensuring value for money across all works.

What you'll need to succeedI am looking for a commercially experienced professional with a background in construction, ideally in defence. You'll need a relevant qualification (HND/Foundation Degree or equivalent), at least four years' UK experience, and strong skills in negotiation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. A full UK driving licence and eligibility for security clearance are essential.
