We have a great opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an award-winning multi-disciplinary property & construction consultancy based on the outskirts of Manchester. With an established client base and a collaborative team culture, the team deliver innovative and sustainable solutions across a range of sectors.

This is a fantastic role for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career.

About the Role of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll take on a client-facing position, offering expert cost and procurement advice across a diverse portfolio of projects. Their work spans the Residential, Student Housing, Education, Heritage, Commercial, Retail, and Local Authority sectors.

You'll be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from feasibility to completion, supporting key decisions to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Prepare detailed cost plans and budget estimates
  • Manage procurement processes and administer contracts
  • Oversee cost control and reporting to ensure value for money
  • Support project risk management and mitigation
  • Lead value engineering exercises where required
  • Mentor junior surveyors and support team development

Requirements of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • MRICS accreditation in Quantity Surveying
  • Previous experience as an Employer's Agent is highly desirable
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Confident communicator with a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to manage a varied workload across multiple sectors
  • Full UK Driving Licence
