A leading UK law firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Real Estate Portfolio Manager to join their operations team. This is a brand new position for the firm and will offer an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing the firms real estate assets and capital projects across a diverse portfolio, contributing to strategic decision-making, and ensuring operational excellence.

The Role:

As Real Estate Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s real estate holdings, capital projects, and associated facilities management. Your role will span operational delivery and strategic planning, working closely with senior leadership and external partners to align property initiatives with wider business goals.

Requirements:

  • RICS qualification required
  • Degree in Real Estate, Business Management, or a related field
  • APM certification desirable

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the selection, evaluation, acquisition, and ongoing management of office premises across the UK
  • Develop and maintain a detailed lease event diary and reporting framework
  • Assist in shaping real estate strategy and contributing to transactional decisions
  • Collaborate with external consultants, landlords, and internal stakeholders
  • Oversee capital projects to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and high-standard delivery
  • Drive sustainability initiatives in line with corporate ESG objectives
  • Monitor and manage risk, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and building regulations
  • Manage budgets, supplier performance, and contract negotiations
