Compliance Officer

Our client are currently seeking a highly experienced Compliance Officer to join their team

Responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver a high quality, customer focused H&S compliance service which meets all the regulatory and statutory duties of a registered social landlord
  • Take responsibility for, communal block inspections, undertaking weekly call-point checks, smoke vent checks and ensuring all corridors are clear from fire risks
  • Act upon immediately any breaches in compliance and escalate to the line manager and leadership team as appropriate
  • Provide feedback to the Compliance and Property Support Manager regarding the quality and performance of the relevant H&S contractors to enable him/her to effectively manage and monitor contractors to ensure they meet their contractual obligations in relation to cost, quality and performance.
  • To attend H&S compliance action plan progress meetings as required
  • Liaise with Neighbourhood Services and Estates and Facilities Team to report Identify incidents of crime nuisance, acts of vandalism, ASB, tenancy fraud, fly tipping, abandoned properties, and safeguarding issues

The Successful person will have:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Relevant experience
