We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a busy service department in Trafford Park. You’ll work on a wide range of commercial vehicles and trailers, carrying out servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs to manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities: HGV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter
Carry out maintenance and repairs on HGVs, commercial vehicles, and trailers
Diagnose faults and perform vehicle tests
Complete warranty, contract, and retail documentation accurately
Undertake preventative maintenance to reduce customer costs
Support the team and follow instructions from your Shift Supervisor
Skills and Qualifications: HGV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter
Essential
City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
Experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing commercial vehicles
Organised, methodical, and detail-oriented
Full UK driving licence
Friendly, professional, and confident communicator
Ability to work under pressure and independently or as part of a team
Desirable
HGV driving licence (Class 1 or 2)
Manufacturer training and technical knowledge
