We're recruiting on behalf of a cutting-edge tech agency that is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their high-performing Sales team. This role is pivotal in driving new business growth, expanding high-value client relationships, and shaping commercial success across both new and existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Identify, target, and close new business opportunities, securing new logos and expanding into untapped markets.

  • Strategic Account Management: Develop tailored account plans to unlock upsell, cross-sell, and sector growth, in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

  • Consultative Solution Selling: Use a needs-based, value-led sales approach to demonstrate the ROI and scalability of complex SaaS solutions.

  • Executive-Level Engagement: Deliver compelling, data-driven presentations to C-level clients, establishing yourself as a trusted strategic advisor.

  • Collaboration & Leadership: Lead cross-functional projects, mentor junior team members, and work closely with Marketing, Tech, and Customer Success teams to ensure client success.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends and client challenges, using insights to sharpen sales strategies and enhance value delivery.

  • Performance Analysis: Use pipeline metrics, client feedback, and sales data to inform strategic decision-making and report to senior leadership.

What We're Looking For:

  • A proven track record in B2B new business development, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing complex sales within the SaaS or tech space.

  • Experience managing high-value accounts in a solutions-focused environment with a focus on both growth and retention.

  • Strong consultative sales skills, with the ability to translate client pain points into tailored solutions.

  • Confident communicator with executive presence and the ability to negotiate and present at board level.

  • A good grasp of technical terminology and the ability to liaise effectively with both commercial and technical teams.

  • Comfortable with data-led decision-making, using performance metrics and client feedback to guide action.
