My client is a fast-growing sustainability business based in the Swinton Area. Due to growth of the business there is a new requirement for an Accounts Assistant.
Reporting to the Finance and Payroll manager this is an all-round role that will give the right candidate the opportunity to progress with their skill set and also make a real impact into this business, assisting with accounting procedures as the business grows .
Duties of the role willentail:
- Day to day responsibility of all financials (purchase and sales ledger, credit control, daily/monthly bank reconciliation, monthly accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations) for the new entity.
- Debtors, Creditors and Control Accounts management and reconciliation.
- Administration of supplier payment runs.
- Production of quarterly VAT returns for UK and Europe.
- Assistance with preparation of management accounts across the group.
- Analysis of internal reports and data.
- Assistance with monthly payroll.
- Assistance with annual audit for the group.
- Assistance and cover of group Purchase and Sales Ledger functions as required.
