About the Role:We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our client's growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to make an impact in a fast-paced start-up. You’ll play a key role in supporting their finance function across sales ledger, purchase ledger, banking, and general finance admin.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Ledger

  • Reconcile payments with sales orders.

  • Raise weekly and monthly sales invoices.

  • Post customer BACS payments.

  • Assist with credit control activities.

Purchase Ledger

  • Post purchase invoices to the accounting software.

  • Prepare weekly supplier payment runs.

  • Reconcile supplier accounts.

Banking

  • Post banking entries to the accounting software.

Ad-hoc Duties

  • Manage the centralised finance mailbox.

  • Respond to customer and supplier queries.

About You:

  • Highly motivated and conscientious with a “can do” attitude.

  • A strong team player who can also work independently to deadlines.

  • Adaptable and comfortable with change in a start-up environment.

  • Skilled with Excel/Google Sheets (desirable but not essential – full training provided).
