Role Purpose
We are currently seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our clients Finance team in Manchester. My client is a leading worldwide brand who are keen to enhance their existing Finance Function by recruiting a new addition to their team.
This role will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of the purchase ledger process. Youll be hands-on with ensuring timely and accurate processing of purchase invoices, manage queries, and support the broader finance team in maintaining financial records.
Purchase Ledger Assistant Responsibilities
- Accurately process purchase invoices.
- Handle purchase order-related queries from internal and external customers.
- Address and resolve invoices rejected.
- Track and manage pro forma and VAT invoice requirements.
- Assist with general purchase ledger housekeeping tasks, including statement reconciliations.
- Collaborate with both internal and external customers to resolve queries and provide requested information.
- Take on ad-hoc tasks as required.
What We're Looking For
- Experience within a finance function.
- Strong Excel experience including Pivot Tables and Subtotals.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
