Location: Middleton Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £29,500 per annum Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch break)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bandsaw Operator with CNC experience to join our client's team in Middleton. This permanent role offers stability, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work with precision cutting machinery in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate bandsaw machinery to cut materials to specification

   

• Set up, programme, and operate CNC equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency

   

• Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders

   

• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment

   

• Monitor production quality and make adjustments as needed

   

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company standards

   

• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines

   

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience operating bandsaws in a manufacturing or engineering environment

   

• Strong CNC programming and operating skills

   

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

   

• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality

   

• Strong awareness of health and safety practices

   

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
