I am currently recruiting for an enthusiastic graduate for a cover supervisor role in an Ofsted Good Academy in South Manchester.

The role is from September 2025 on a full-time temporary contract until July 2026.

The Role

Cover Supervisor Monday to Friday 8.20 - 3.20pm

The role will include:

  • Taking the lead in the absence of the teacher
  • Sole responsibility for teaching and learning
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons
  • Using provided resources to encourage learning
  • Managing the behaviour within the classroom
  • Developing independent study skills and peer learning
  • Pastoral and learning support
  • Managing handover back to the teacher

The school are ideally looking for a graduate with a good degree in maths, science or humanities and good GCSEs with A*- C or 6 -9 grades in maths, English and Science.
