Equitas is working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious state secondary school in Tameside in their search for a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Mathematics to join their team on a full-time permanent basis from September 2025.
The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play an important role in supporting students to achieve their full potential and contribute to the wider success of the department and school community.
Key Responsibilities-
Plan and deliver well-structured, differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum

Assess, monitor, and report on student progress

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages a love for learning

Contribute to the development of schemes of work and resources

Participate in departmental meetings, CPD opportunities, and wider school activities

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student achievement

Holds UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification

Has experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4

Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths

Is committed to raising achievement and delivering high standards in teaching and learning

Possesses excellent classroom management and communication skills
