Job Description:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher to join this fantastic school on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical education lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential to expand to Key Stage 5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities and learning styles.

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the benefits of physical fitness and teamwork.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to encourage improvement.

  • Support the development and growth of extracurricular sports activities and teams.

  • Maintain a high standard of behaviour management within PE lessons.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall curriculum and extracurricular provision.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • A degree in Physical Education or a related field.

  • Experience teaching PE at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is a plus).

  • A passion for sport and the ability to inspire students.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.
