Teachwise is currently looking for an experienced ScienceTeacher for a mainstream secondary schoolbased within the Manchesterarea.
The role will involve teaching Scienceat both KS3 & KS4 and previous experience teaching at both levels is required. The position will start on 05/01/26 and will continue on a part-time basis until the summer, covering a maternity leave. The working days will be Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
Key Requirements:
- Ability to teach Scienceup to KS4
- A passion for the subject
- Ability to raise standards throughout
- Ability to engage with a variedcohort
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to plan and differentiate lessons accordingly
- Good behaviour management strategies
- Hold right to work in the UK
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
- Hold PGCE with QTS or equivalent
- Available from January on a part-time basis
