The Role

As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support learning across the school day. This role will involve a mixture of general classroom support and targeted intervention work.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting pupils within the classroom setting across EYFS, KS1 or KS2

Working 1:1 or with small groups to reinforce learning

Supporting children with additional needs where required

Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation

Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement, and confidence

Requirements

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

Recent experience working in a UK primary school (within the last 2 years)

A patient, reliable, and proactive approach

Ability to work under the direction of the class teacher
