Aspire People is working alongside a forward-thinking primary school that is seeking an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to focus on interventions and pupil progress.
This role is ideal for a TA who enjoys delivering targeted support and helping children close learning gaps.
The Role
You will work across year groups to deliver structured interventions in reading, writing, and maths. You'll support pupils who require extra help to meet age-related expectations, working closely with teachers to track progress and adapt support.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions
* Support pupils who need additional academic support
* Monitor progress and report outcomes to teachers
* Prepare intervention resources and activities
* Support classroom learning when not delivering interventions
* Build strong, positive relationships with pupils
Requirements
Essential:
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
* Experience delivering interventions in a UK primary school
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills
* Confident working independently with pupils
Desirable:
* Experience across multiple year groups
* Familiarity with assessment tools and progress tracking
