Full time, term time only

Start date: November 2025

Working hours – Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? Our client schools across Manchester are seeking a passionate and skilled Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their school after October half-term. Level 2 Teaching Assistant responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality lessons
• Provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups, including those with SEND
• Lead intervention and enrichment activities to boost pupil progress
• Assist with classroom management, resource preparation, and displays
• Supervise pupils during break times, trips, and extracurricular activities
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

What We’re Looking For

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a Secondary school setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible, proactive, and committed to supporting children’s learning
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
