Local authority in greater Manchester are currently looking for a repairs and maintenance manager to join their housing property services team for an initial period until the end of March.

Purpose of the role:

The role holder will be responsible for effectively managing and organising the frontline delivery of work activities, and lead on strategic marketing and development of venues and localities.

The role holder will work closely with service managers and key stakeholders to effectively engage with residents and local communities in order to develop and deliver appropriate programmes and activities.

The role holder will work in collaboration with other key stakeholders to develop effective partnerships, linkages and greater coordinated working with partners to achieve service objectives, and ensure joined up delivery and maximum efficiency Key Role Accountabilities:

Motivate and develop team members through effective performance management and co-ordination of teams, including training and development to maintain continuous improvement.

Ensure that teams effectively engage with stakeholders to deliver work programmes and to ensure that strategic objectives are successfully achieved.

Contract initially until the end of March

35 - 40 an hour

37 hours per week
