We are currently recruiting for an experienced Buyer (CIPS L4) to join our clients incredibly busy Supply Chain Team. Our client is a World Class manufacture and supplier of chemicals for the personal care, cosmetics, HI&I and many industrial applications. Due to exciting growth plans we are now

The Job
Responsible for sourcing and purchasing chemicals and raw materialsto meet cost, quality and delivery targets.
Negotiating contracts and management of supplier relationships
- Collaborate with Production Planning to ensure timely and accurate material availability.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders re potential risks in supply.
Ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards
Collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Proficiency in managing supplier relationships and ensuring timely delivery
Ability to analyse market trends and make informed purchasing decisions
Understanding of environmental and safety compliance standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in using procurement software and tools
Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Experience in the chemical industry is a plus
CIPS L4+
Hours of Work are Monday to Friday (flexible start and finish times)
