C&B Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Car Sales Manager to join a successful and high-performing Prestige Main Dealer.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a driven and experienced Used Car Sales Manager with a proven background in performance management, team leadership, and delivering strong sales results in a franchised dealership environment.

Car Sales Manager Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate the used car sales team to consistently meet and exceed targets
  • Drive performance across key KPIs: unit sales, finance penetration, add-ons, customer satisfaction
  • Lead daily and weekly team sales meetings and individual performance reviews
  • Monitor and improve used car stock profiles, pricing, and display
  • Maintain a strong digital presence across classified platforms (Auto Trader, etc.)
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure compliance with FCA and manufacturer standards
  • Work closely with the General Manager and Head of Business on strategic goals and forecasting

 

Car Sales Manager Requirements:

  • Proven track record as a Used Car Sales Manager or Car Sales Manager in a main dealer environment – essential
  • Stable and consistent career history – essential
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Deep understanding of F&I, stock management, and digital retailing
  • Confident in reporting, forecasting, and business development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence – essential
