We are recruiting for an experienced Manager who's background is in Retail or Petrol forecourt management.

This role requires someone who can inspire and engage a team to achieve the highest standards whilst creating a great working environment.

Reporting to the Regional Manager your key responsibilities will be:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operational management of the store
  • Communication, ensuring all staff are aware of current and future plans, and are working towards the further development of themselves and the Group.
  • Managing staff, completing performance reviews, managing staff rotas and more. (Note: Involving management of approximately 12 staff in total).
  • Ensuring staff always maintain the highest standard of customer service.
  • EPOS, till operation and banking.
  • Responsibility for fire, health and safety, with exception of manufacturing processes in main plant.
  • Oversight and overall responsibility for stock control and profit and loss on sight.
  • Ensure store merchandising is up to date, and of the highest standard possible in store, both in presentation and cleanliness.

Required experience for the role include:

  • Experience of managing teams of multiple people, multiple processes and departments in a retail or trade environment.
  • A track record of delivering results whilst working in a high volume fast paced environment.
  • The proven ability to lead a team with a passion to deliver results through great customer service.
  • Personal skills that include computer and IT literacy and numeracy.
  • A 'hands on' approach with a 'can do' attitude.

You will be reqwarded with a generous basic salary plus achievable bonus scheme.
