We are recruiting for an experienced Manager who's background is in Retail or Petrol forecourt management.
This role requires someone who can inspire and engage a team to achieve the highest standards whilst creating a great working environment.
Reporting to the Regional Manager your key responsibilities will be:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operational management of the store
- Communication, ensuring all staff are aware of current and future plans, and are working towards the further development of themselves and the Group.
- Managing staff, completing performance reviews, managing staff rotas and more. (Note: Involving management of approximately 12 staff in total).
- Ensuring staff always maintain the highest standard of customer service.
- EPOS, till operation and banking.
- Responsibility for fire, health and safety, with exception of manufacturing processes in main plant.
- Oversight and overall responsibility for stock control and profit and loss on sight.
- Ensure store merchandising is up to date, and of the highest standard possible in store, both in presentation and cleanliness.
Required experience for the role include:
- Experience of managing teams of multiple people, multiple processes and departments in a retail or trade environment.
- A track record of delivering results whilst working in a high volume fast paced environment.
- The proven ability to lead a team with a passion to deliver results through great customer service.
- Personal skills that include computer and IT literacy and numeracy.
- A 'hands on' approach with a 'can do' attitude.
