Job Opportunity: Learning Support Assistant (Full-Time, Temporary Ongoing)
Location: Greater Manchester College
Rate: 16 - 18 per hour PAYE 36 hours per week
Eden Brown are looking to recruit a learning support assistant on behalf of a leading Further Education College in Greater Manchester.
This is a full time temporary role to start immediately for at least 2 months with the possibility of extension.
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to provide tailored support to adult learners in a further education setting. This full-time, position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with learners, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual learner needs
Assist learners with diverse educational, and emotional needs
Support classroom teaching staff in creating an inclusive learning environment
Help learners develop study skills, confidence, and independence
Monitor and record learner progress and provide feedback to the team
What We're Looking For:
* Experience supporting adult learners in an educational setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse learner needs
A current DBS is also needed for this role.
