Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their client's Court and Locality Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and their families. This role involves identifying needs, ensuring safety, and monitoring progress in accordance with the Children Act, Service policies, and relevant legislation. Additionally, the responsibilities include managing and supervising child placements, as well as adhering to fostering and adoption standards.

Responsibilities :

  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children, young people, and their families.
  • Conduct thorough and timely assessments following regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with various agencies, children, and families in the assessment and planning process.
  • Manage complex and diverse caseloads, maintaining high standards of casework.
  • Mentor and support less experienced Social Workers, co-working cases as necessary.
  • Develop care plans that reflect the views and wishes of children and young people.
  • Maintain detailed case records and produce required reports.

Qualifications and Experience : To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience.
