Our Client, Manchester City council, is seeking an Adult’s Social Worker to join their Neighbourhood Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Carry out Care Act assessments and develop personalised support plans
  • Respond to safeguarding concerns and complete Section 42 enquiries
  • Assess mental capacity and make best interest decisions where needed
  • Work with GPs, nurses, housing officers, and voluntary organisations to coordinate care
  • Maintain accurate case records using council IT systems
  • Support people to access community resources and live independently
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to shared decision-making

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
