Qualified Social Worker, Frontline TeamPay rate to £35 per hour Contract role Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker for a Frontline Team in Manchester City Council.Experience of working with children and young families in frontline services, i.e. child in need, child protection, and for children who are looked after. Experience of undertaking pre-proceedings and working within legal frameworks including private and public law proceedings and adoption proceedings. Average caseloads of 16.Key Responsibilities:· Duty Week: Every 4 weeks, the team covers all referrals and assessments for the locality. During this week, the successful candidate will be expected to complete Section 47 enquiries, respond to urgent referrals/visits, and carry out Child and Family Assessments.· Ongoing Casework: The role also involves long-term work including Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), PLO, and court proceedings. Experience in CIN and CP is essential.
