We are seeking a dedicated Housing Management Officer to provide essential housing management services and high-quality accommodation to homeless households. This role is pivotal in working closely with tenants and their support workers to manage housing issues effectively and oversee the day-to-day operations of the furnished tenancies scheme.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Monitor tenants' compliance with tenancy agreements, house rules, and court orders, taking appropriate action when rules are broken.
  • Manage and track rent, utility, and other charges, maintaining accurate records and reporting issues as necessary.
  • Handle all aspects of tenancies, including initiating, managing, and concluding them, which includes issuing Notices to Quit.
  • Support tenants and their support workers with tenancy-related planning.
  • Assess the quality and suitability of furniture in properties and arrange for cleaning, repairs, replacements, or disposal as needed.
  • Commit to personal development to continuously improve the service provided.
