Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching & Learning: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum.

  • Classroom Management: Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and progress.

  • Assessment: Track pupil attainment and progress, using data to inform planning and intervention.

  • Differentiation: Adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with SEND or EAL.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support each child's learning journey.

  • Safeguarding: Uphold school safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils.

  • Position: KS1 Teacher

  • Type of Work: Long-Term / Full-Time

  • Working Hours: 08:15 AM - 3:45 PM, Monday to Friday



Experience & Qualifications:

  • Essential:

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

    • Experience teaching within KS1 in a UK primary school.

  • Desirable:

    • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment framework.

    • Up-to-date Safeguarding and Child Protection training.



Eligibility Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Enhanced DBS certificate (on the Update Service) or willingness to apply for one.

  • Two professional references from educational settings.
