Are you a dedicated and qualified Social Worker with a passion for supporting vulnerable children and young people?

Are you experienced in working with Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) and confident in completing comprehensive age assessments?

We have an exciting locum opportunity within a UASC team in Trafford, where you'll play a vital role in responding to a growing number of referrals for Separated Young People. This is a rewarding position for an experienced practitioner who can work within tight timescales, deliver trauma-informed assessments, and contribute to safeguarding outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Completing Age Assessments
  • Liaising with other social work departments and external agencies
  • Support the children/young people through the legal processes

To be considered for the Social Worker role:

  • 1+ years experience of working within a similar (UASC) social work setting
  • Experience of completing age assessments
  • Social Work England Registration
