Software Test Engineer - Role & Responsibilities:
- To work as a member of an expanding software team testing market leading and well-established applications
- Accurate testing of the next generation of core products, in addition to our existing software, in close conjunction with the R&D team
- To read and understand in-house written technical specifications, and capture user requirements, using them to create and execute test plans
- To communicate with internal and external stakeholders concisely and effectively
- To perform accurate, complete and timely testing of software in line with company standards, software, architecture and design strategy
Software Test Engineer - Skills & Experience
- Graduate with Engineering, Communication or IT related degree (or equivalent)
- A background of software testing in a commercial environment
- A good eye for detail and a meticulous approach to ensuring the software is of a sufficient quality
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of different testing methodologies
- Good organisational skills, able to work on multiple projects in parallel
- Candidates will have a desire to work with people as well as software, systems and technology
