My architecture client who do a lot of work with house developers on projects ranging from 10-100 units, are looking for a Senior/Associate Architect to join them on a permenant basis. The Senior Architect supports the planning, design, and execution of architectural projects from concept through construction. This role collaborates with senior architects, engineers, consultants, and clients to develop design solutions, produce high-quality drawings and models, and ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including structural, MEP, and civil engineers.

  • Participate in internal and client meetings, presenting design updates and technical information.

  • Assist with coordinating consultants, reviewing their drawings for consistency and alignment with project intent.

  • Support project managers with schedules, documentation, permits, and RFIs.

Construction Support

  • Assist in preparing specifications and material selections.

  • Support site visits, field verification, and construction administration tasks.

  • Review submittals and shop drawings under the guidance of senior staff.

Quality & Process

  • Ensure drawings and models meet firm standards and industry best practices.

  • Contribute to design development, research, and innovation within the team.

  • Maintain organized project files and documentation.

  • Supporting the wider team on projects, eventually buisling out your own team beneath you

  • Winning new projects

Qualifications

Education & Credentials

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.

  • Knowledge of building codes, ADA requirements, and industry standards.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Revit is typically required.
Strong understanding of construction documentation and building systems.
Experience in winning projects
Experience managing a small team
Experience in working with house developers is a bonus
