Reeson Education is currently recruiting a calm, resilient, and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join a small, supportive SEN school in Wythenshawe. This Learning Support Assistant role is full-time, long-term, and has the potential to lead to a direct contract with the school.

The school caters to pupils who find it difficult to thrive in mainstream settings due to a range of complex needs including ASD, SEMH, communication challenges, ADHD, and other barriers to learning. As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting students in small class groups and 1:1, helping them access learning and grow in confidence.

Key Responsibilities for the Learning Support Assistant:* Support teaching and learning across a range of age groups and needs* Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs* Assist in implementing EHCP strategies and behaviour support plans* Encourage independence, self-regulation, and emotional well-being* Work closely with teachers, therapists, and SEN specialists to deliver tailored support

The Ideal Learning Support Assistant Will:* Have experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar SEN role* Be patient, consistent, and confident in a SEN environment* Understand how to support pupils with ASD, SEMH, and communication needs* Be comfortable working flexibly across different classes and key stages* Have excellent relationship-building and communication skills

Learning Support Assistant Requirements:* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)* Right to work in the UK* Recent references covering the last 2-3 years* Relevant experience working with children or young people with SEN
