Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them reach their full potential? Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a committed and nurturing Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Trafford, starting immediately.

The Role:
  • Supporting children with additional needs, both inside and outside the classroom.

  • Adapting learning materials and providing targeted interventions.

  • Encouraging student engagement and promoting independence.

  • Working closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and external professionals.

  • Monitoring pupil progress and contributing to individual education plans (IEPs).

Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, LSA, or in a similar child-support role.

  • Understanding of SEN, including strategies for supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, and other learning needs.

  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with excellent communication skills.

  • A team player with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for education.

  • A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one via Tradewind Recruitment.
