Milk Education are currently seeking a teaching assistant with experience supporting complex needs, to join a SEN provision in the Manchester area.

The organisation comprises of a school, college and residency, and caters for children and young people with complex needs. You will need to be able to foster strong relationships with the students and have a passion for supporting those with special needs.

The Role:
  • Providing tailored support, working with children with SEN and complex needs

  • Providing personal care

  • Creating a safe environment that allows children to have fun, learn and succeed

  • Providing academic support

Position Details:
  • Location: Stockport (Cheadle Hulme)

  • Position: SEN TA

  • Hours: 8:30am–3:30pm

  • Type of Work: Temporary

  • Full time/Part time: Full time only

  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £105 per day, depending on experience

  • Start date: ASAP

  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:
  • A recent graduate looking for work experience within SEN

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN/experience supporting those with complex needs in a care setting

  • Strong teamwork ethic

  • Driven, energetic and keen to pursue a career within education and SEN

ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH MILK EDUCATION, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK

  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

  • Provide two professional child-related references that cover the last two years
