Role: SEN teacher

Location: Greater Manchester

Hours: Full Time or Part Time - 8:30am to 3:30pm days

This position will be working 5 days a week teaching students of SEN And SEMH schools

The School we are working with are open to accepting candidates with strong experience or newly qualified ECT

The role of a SEN Teacher:

Plan GCSE SEN lessons that are engaging and adapt to various abilities
Strong knowledge of the curriculum
Use strong de-escalation strategies to keep the students engaged
Ability to effectively develop the confidence and social skills of pupils

Requirements for SEN Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status preferable
Experience delivering GCSE English lessons at Secondary Level
Strong subject knowledge
Ability to effectively develop the confidence and social skills of pupils
An understanding of working with students with SEN and SEMH needs
An understanding of pupils’ behaviour patterns when experiencing complex needs
