SEN Teacher - Manchester
200 - 250 per day

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our specialist school in Manchester, supporting children and young people with a wide range of additional needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced teacher to make a lasting impact in a supportive and well-resourced environment.



The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with Special Educational Needs.

  • Use a range of strategies and interventions to promote progress and positive behaviour.

  • Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to meet individual EHCP targets.

  • Maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.

  • Engage with parents, carers and external professionals to support pupil development.



About You

We are seeking a teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.

  • Has proven experience teaching in SEND provisions (special schools or specialist units).

  • Demonstrates creativity, patience and resilience in the classroom.

  • Can work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to whole-school life.

  • Is passionate about ensuring every pupil achieves their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
