Sports Coach - Manchester:

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking passionate and proactive teaching assistants with sports coaching backgrounds to join a specialist SEMH provision in Manchester, on a full-time basis.

The Role:

Building positive relationships with pupils, encouraging progress and development
Supporting pupils on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups, incorporating sports, to encourage engagement
Developing an understanding of the different needs and learning styles of different pupils in the classroom

Position Details:

Position: Sports Coach
Location: Manchester
Type of Work: Temporary
Full-Time only
Minimum Rate of Pay: 95 per day, depending on experience
Start date: ASAP
End date: Long-Term, Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

Experience within a SEMH provision is highly desired
Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but trainign can be provided)
A strong background in sports and coaching is required
A resilient, proactive and positive nature

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional references
