Futures are working with a well renowned manufacturing business based near Cleckheaton who seeks to appoint a Contracts Engineer on a permanent basis. Your main role will be supporting the contracts team so a background in contracts or projects is highly desirable. You need to have experience in activities such as BOMs, work instructions, work orders, sales orders and previous involvement in a customer focused role. You will work closely with engineering, purchasing and manufacturing teams to ensure that customer requirements are met and have frequent interaction with external parties.Contracts Engineer- Role and Responsibilities -Â Sales Engineer, Estimator, Inside Sales, Mechancial, Manufacturing, Sales
- Taking inbound customer enquires and turning them into quotes / orders
- Provide technical support to the customer to ensure the correct product is ordered
- Making BOMs, work instructions, work orders and sales orders for the manufacturing teams
- General office administration support
- Competent with Microsoft excel and data input
- Management of order from quote through to deliveryÂ

- Previous experience working for a manufacturing company, ideally in a commercial role
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiar with full Microsoft suite of products
- Well organised with good attention to detail
