Morson Talent is delighted to be partnering with our client based in South Manchester to recruit a Senior Resourcing Analyst. 

This is a contract opportunity of 6-9 months and will involve future-focused workforce planning, including capacity modelling, roster creation, and scenario testing, to ensure resources are effectively aligned with upcoming operational demands of the business. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and adjust workforce models that incorporate demand forecasts, operational shifts, and business transformation impacts
  • Create and refine rosters and scheduling patterns that balance operational performance, staff wellbeing, and legal obligations
  • Carry out scenario testing and “what if” analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making
  • Work closely with teams across operations, HR, finance, and transformation to deliver effective workforce solutions
  • Communicate recommendations and insights through clear, evidence-based reporting
  • Assist in the introduction and adoption of new planning systems or methods
  • Support the implementation of new planning tools or processes as required

 

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in workforce or resource planning, ideally in complex service environments
  • Strong numerical and analytical expertise, with advanced Excel skills
  • Practical experience in roster design and knowledge of working time legislation and union frameworks
  • Ability to analyse complex datasets and translate them into practical recommendations
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills

 

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with workforce planning tools
  • Experience working in regulated environments
  • Exposure to transformational change programmes
